So as I have been watching the French Open (tennis tournament in Paris for those who don't know), I have realized how much I miss France.
I miss the pastries,

I miss the chateaux,

I miss wandering the streets of Paris,

I miss my baguette sandwiches,

I miss the parks,

I miss my French host parents, etc.

But most of all I miss the metro. I loved my ride into Paris every morning. It was merely a year ago that I woke up in Croissy Sur Seine, walked to the metro, picked up a Vingt Minute announcing Federer finally winning the French Open and caught the RER A into Paris--Chatelet Les Halles to be exact. From there I walked right past the Centre Pompidou on my way to class, right down the street from the Le Gay Choc.

Oh Paris, je t'aime.
